Free delivery & delivery notes

Sohoj Dokan gives you two ways to offer free delivery, plus an optional note field so customers can share delivery instructions.

Steps

1. Open Delivery Settings → Delivery Zones from the sidebar.
2. Turn on Free Delivery Mode. When no delivery zones are set up, customers can then check out with no delivery charge and without picking a zone. If active zones do exist, customers must still pick one and that zone’s charge applies — so to make delivery free everywhere, set each zone’s charge to 0.
3. To offer free delivery only on larger orders, leave a zone’s charge in place and set its Free Delivery Threshold instead. Once an order reaches that amount, the charge for that zone is waived automatically.
4. To collect delivery instructions, set Delivery Notes to one of three options:
   • Disabled — no note field is shown.
   • Optional — customers may add a note if they wish.
   • Required — customers must enter a note before placing the order.
5. Click Save Settings.

Note: A per-zone threshold and Free Delivery Mode work independently. Free Delivery Mode only keeps checkout open on a store with no zones; a threshold waives a zone’s charge, but only once an order is large enough.

Tips

• A note set to Required is useful when you need landmarks or floor numbers for delivery.
