bKash online payment

The bKash payment gateway takes payments automatically. Customers pay on bKash’s own secure page, and the order is marked paid the moment bKash confirms it — you never have to check a transaction ID by hand.

This is not the same as the manual bKash option. The manual option (bKash and Nagad) asks the customer to send money themselves and then asks you to verify it. This one is fully automatic and needs a bKash merchant account with gateway access.

Steps

  1. In your dashboard, open Integrations and go to the Payment tab.
  2. Tap the bKash Checkout card.
  3. Enter the four values from your bKash merchant account: Username, Password, App Key and App Secret.
  4. Choose the payment amount: Full order amount, a Fixed amount, a Percentage of the order total, or Delivery charge only.
  5. (Optional) Add instructions for the customer.
  6. Turn it on and tap Save.

You can’t turn it on until all four values are filled in — otherwise customers would see a payment option that can’t actually take money.

How it works

At checkout the customer is taken to the secure bKash page and pays with their bKash PIN. When the payment goes through, the order is marked paid automatically, the bKash transaction ID is saved in the order history, and the customer’s bKash number is recorded on the order.

If a payment doesn’t complete — the customer cancels, or the money isn’t taken — the order stays unpaid and you can follow up as usual.

Refunds

Refunds are done from your own bKash merchant portal, not from Sohojdokan. Once you’ve refunded a customer there, update the order here so your records match.

Note: Your Password and App Secret are stored securely and are never shown again after you save them. Leave them blank when editing to keep what’s already saved. Your App Key stays visible so you can check it at a glance.

What’s next

Compare with the other payment methods, or set up partial / advance payments.
