Order statuses & fulfillment
Each order moves through a series of statuses as you fulfill it. Keeping the status up to date helps you and your customers know exactly where things stand.
The status flow
Orders normally move forward in this order:
Pending → Confirmed → Processing → Awaiting Pickup → Delivered
Any order can also be set to Cancelled if it falls through.
Steps
- Open an order from the Orders list.
- In the Update Order panel, choose the new Order Status.
- Tap Update Order to save. To update many orders together, select them in the list and use Change Status — note that Change Status cannot cancel, so cancel one order at a time from its own page.
Note: When editing an order you can add an edit note — a short reason that is saved alongside the change.
Order history
Every status change, payment update, and edit is recorded in the Order History timeline on the order page, with who made it and when. This gives you a clear audit trail for each order.
Courier updates in the timeline
If you have connected a courier’s webhook, every parcel movement the courier reports lands in this same timeline as a Courier Update row credited by
These are parcel statuses — Awaiting Pickup, In transit, Out for delivery, Delivered, Returned and so on — rather than order statuses, so they can say more than the six order stages can. Read the two together: the order status is where you have moved the order, and the parcel status is where the courier has taken it. See understand parcel statuses.
What’s next
- Confirm money received before shipping: verify manual payments.
- Hand the parcel to a courier: ship with couriers & print labels.
